We want to give KUDOS to the Pima and Tucson IDAs, as well as their program partners, the Tucson REALTOR Charitable Foundation, the City of Tucson, and FHR Cares/FHR, and the Community Investment Corporation (CIC)! They are now offering a new (additional) DPA option to Essential Workers through the Essential Workers Fund (EWF).
These funds must be used in conjunction with a PTHS first mortgage product. The option for assisted rate first mortgage products is also available so that eligible borrowers can have two sources of DPA and Closing Cost Assistance. The unassisted rate is also available, and the EWF can be used towards the DPA.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) will identify Essential Workers. Lenders will have program materials to reference, or you can refer to the CDC website. This program provides the borrower with a Grant equal to 1% of the loan amount up to $2,500. For more information, please visit pimaida.org.
Keep up the great work, Pima and Tucson IDAs!
